Go European Ltd hereby agrees to supply each hire vehicle as described, in a safe and roadworthy condition, fit for purpose in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines.
All hirers agree to the following mandatory conditions:
1. All drivers must be between 21 and 70 years of age.
2. All drivers must provide Go European Ltd with a copy of their full UK driving licence including counter part, which must be free from endorsements excepting minor speeding offences along with two other forms of identification. At least one should show their signature and full address details, all must be present at the time of hire.
3. All drivers must have held for mentioned driving licence for at least 36months.
4. All drivers visiting from abroad must produce their full domestic licence.
5. All drivers must sign the hire agreement, any & all insurance documentation and the declaration of acceptance of Go European Ltds standard terms & conditions.
Booking
A booking deposit of £100 per week is payable at the time of making the reservation and will be deducted from the total hire charge. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. However, in the event of the motorhome being re-hired, the deposit may be reinstated.
Insurance
Comprehensive UK insurance is provided by Go European Ltd and is included in the hire charge. Continental insurance is available at an additional rate. Each motorhome is insured for the contract period only, therefore driving the motorhome outside the contract period will result in a road traffic offence, in the event of which the hirer would be solely responsible for any accidental damage, injury and consequential loss thereafter.
Payment details
The balance of the hire charge must be received where appropriate six weeks prior to the hire period. The hirer expressly agrees to pay Go European Ltd on demand. The hirer must also provide Go European Ltd with a £500 security deposit via credit card pre-auth prior to departure. All payments other than the £500 security deposit are non-refundable. Travel insurance cover is advised to safeguard against this possibility. All deposit details taken will be destroyed or returned to the customer no later than 48 hours after the termination of the agreement providing the hire criteria as described in these terms and conditions is met.
Collection and return
The vehicle will be available for collection after 12pm. Upon collection the hirer agrees not to use the vehicle for rent or reward, nor use it in violation of any law, ordinance or regulation, nor remove it without prior consent of Go European Ltd from the United Kingdom. Further, the hirer agrees not to operate the vehicle or permit the vehicle to be operated in any way that would violate the hire agreement including: Driving by any person under the age of 21 or over 70; In motor sport events (including racing, pace making, rallying, reliability trials and speed testing); To propel or tow any vehicle or trailer; By any person driving when unfit through drink or drugs with a blood concentration level above the limit prescribed by road traffic legislation; By any other person other than the named driver(s); Under authority of any licence other than his/her own and further agrees to protect the interests of both Go European Ltd and the insurers by keeping the vehicle locked when unattended with the keys secure. The vehicle must be returned before 12pm at the end of the hire agreement. Your co-operation in returning the vehicle on time at the end of the hire agreement is essential in order that it can be prepared for the next hirers. Returning the motorhome later than the designated time will incur a surcharge of £100 per day or part day, plus the daily hire rate. Go European Ltd shall be entitled to repossess the vehicle without legal process or notification if it remains unreturned after the hire period has ended with all expenses incurred chargeable to the hirer. A deduction from the £500 security deposit will be made if the vehicle is returned in an unsatisfactory condition or in the event that any damage(s) or loss accidental or otherwise is caused to any internal or external part of the vehicle including but not exclusive to fixtures, fittings, equipment & keys regardless of whether damage(s) or loss are a result of an act of god(s). To ensure this does not happen please return the vehicle in the manner & time specified within the rental agreement and our terms & conditions, on time, emptied, cleaned & un-damaged. Go European reserve the right to charge £50 for the emptying of any on board waste material. Go European reserve the right to action this or any additional charge up to 48 hours after the termination of the hire agreement.
Availability
If due to circumstances beyond Go European Ltds control the motorhome is not available for collection, Go European Ltd reserves the right to offer a suitable alternative to which the hirer agrees to be acceptable. The liability in such instances will be limited to a refund of monies paid, and the hirer shall have no claim against Go European Ltd. Travel insurance is recommended to cover cancellation costs, personal effects, money loss, personal accident and injury.
Cancellation by Go European
The hirer authorises Go European Ltd to verify through credit agencies, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency or any other sources, personal, driving & credit information provided by the hirer and any additional drivers. Go European Ltd reserve the right to cancel the hire of any vehicle with immediate affect if, at any time prior to or during the hire period Go European Ltd has reason to be unsatisfied with the authenticity of the hire party, any & all documentation disclosed as part of the hire agreement or is presented by any means with evidence of inappropriate use as detailed within these terms & conditions. Under such circumstances all monies paid by the hirer including the £500 pre-auth security deposit will be forfeited.
Fines
The hirer is liable as the owner for any and all fines and court costs assessed against the vehicle incurred during the hire period for the infringement of any traffic law or regulation as detailed within the Road Traffic Act 1991, Road Traffic Act 1988 & Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988 or the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Under this legislation all associated costs shall be paid in full by the hirer, who indemnifies Go European Ltds liabilities in such circumstances.
LPG
The motorhome is supplied with one full cylinder of LPG included in the hire charge. Any additional requirements are at the hirers expense.
Accident
In the event of an accident, the hirer agrees to: Notify Go European Ltd immediately and in any event within 24 hours of said accident; Ensure that NO ADMISSION OF LIABILITY IS MADE TO ANY PERSON IN RELATION TO SAID ACCIDENT; Provide Go European Ltd with complete accident report at the termination of the hire agreement including vehicle information and insurance details for any & all party’s involved, with eye witness details if applicable. (A sketch or photograph of the accident may also be helpful); Provide Go European Ltd with any writ of summons, summons or other documentation relating to any proceeding arising out of such an accident. Go European Ltd is not responsible for any consequential loss or expense subsequent to an accident. Go European Ltd shall be under no liability for third party claims or damages in connection with, or consequence to an accident
Theft
In the event of a theft, the hirer agrees to: Notify Go European Ltd immediately, and in any event within 24 hours of said theft; Report the theft to the police or local authority immediately and obtain a crime reference number.
Breakdown
Go European Ltd make every effort to ensure that all motorhomes that comprise their hire fleet are in a safe and roadworthy condition prior to departure. The hirer is responsible for and advised to, carry out periodic checks on tyre pressures & condition, diesel, oil, coolant, and any & all associated mechanical fluid levels throughout the hire period. Any punctures or tyre damage are at the hirers expense. UK breakdown cover is provided in the hire charge. In the event of a breakdown, Go European Ltd must be notified immediately. Who if required will contact National Breakdown Assistance on the hirers behalf. Upon their inspection at the site of the incident, they will liaise with Go European Ltd to determine the best course of action. Go European Ltds approval must be obtained in respect of any repairs or replacements in excess of £50. Go European Ltd is not responsible for any consequential loss or expense subsequent to a breakdown, although a refund of a days’ hire charge may be paid to compensate for loss of use of the motorhome. Go European Ltd shall be under no liability for third party claims or damages in connection with, or consequence to a breakdown.
Smoking and Pets
Smoking and pets are not permitted in any motorhome during hire periods in the interest of other hirers. Any infringement of this condition will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
Car Parking
Free car parking is provided to the hirer for the duration of the hire period at the owners risk.
Vehicles
Vehicles provided may be left hand drive.
Mileage
There is no charge for mileage
Rights
Go European reserves the right to vary rates, conditions and specification without notice. Go European also reserves the right to refuse hire to any persons. Agreements are subject to the standard terms and conditions available on request.
