| Is there really a difference between LHD & RHD prices? |
| Yes. Generally speaking on new vehicles you are looking at a difference of between 10-15% extra for RHD, although this will fluctuate depending on the Euro-Exchange. |
| But isnt that because a RHD vehicle has been designed and constructed specifically to suit the UK buyer? |
| Yes. This is true in the majority of cases. Although major characturistics like size, shape & layout will remain the same, internal, external & base vehicle specifications can differ dramatically. Make no mistake the RHD model is more appropriate for the UK buyer. Ultimately it is your personal choice. |
| Does LHD affect insurance? |
| No. This is a common misconception. Insurance companies are becoming increasingly used to dealing with LHD vehicles but it is still worth shopping around, and it is definitely worth looking into independent specialists, details of which are available on request. |
| Does LHD affect resale? |
| Only in a positive way. Your potential buyers market is increased as more countries use LHD vehicles then RHD |
| What sort of time scale should we expect on delivery? |
| Immediately providing the vehicle is in UK or Continental stock. Specialist requirements such as automatic transmission or leather upholstery may need to be ordered and this will take longer, in any case you will always be kept aware of progress. Once a vehicle has landed in the UK we aim to operate within a 14-day collection window. Where possible this will be including the fitting of any extras or accessories at your request. |
| Do warranties still apply? |
| Yes. Any new vehicle will be sold with a 2 year Pan European manufacturers warranty covering the base vehicle and the conversion. Any used vehicle will be available with up to 12 Month warranty unless otherwise stated. |
| What about spares and repairs? |
| Yes. We are able to obtain parts from continental suppliers if needed but in the majority of cases parts are available off the shelf in the UK. |
| Can you source and fit extras and accessories? |
| Yes. We offer a comprehensive service, the full details and prices of which are available on request or by pressing the Our Services link on this website. |
| What about service & MOT work? |
| A complete up to date listing of all motorhome friendly service & MOT stations across the UK is available on request. Alternatively you can simply bring the vehicle back and we will take care of everything for you. |
